IPL 2023 – Biggest Dilemma – Mind says GT! Heart ponders for CSK!

Well we are IN for the one last final encounter for IPL 2023 Gujarat Titans (GT) vs Chennai Super Kings (CSK).
These are the two best teams in this IPL, and it will be a cracker of a match irrespective of results.
Gujarat Titans (GT)
Background
After 2022 IPL mega-auction, one team who had surprised many cricket experts was Gujarat Titans (GT), cause they have created a new team with not very famous in-form cricketers except for very few names like Hardik, Gill, Rashid.
And more over they made Hardik the leader, very bold move, cause didn’t have exposure of captaincy before this.
Another surprising move was making Ashish Nehra (Head Coach) while Gary Kirsten as Batting Coach, who was the WC winning coach for India in 2011, under whom Ashish Nehra played as bowler.
And then they opted for players who had potential but somehow lacked to show the same in IPL like Saha, Miller, Shankar, etc.
But against all the Odds, this team shown to the world if you have belief and confidence, you can do wonders!!
As we say and hear a lot, if you have a captain who treats you like a friend, and if you have a coach who mentors you for your strengths and ask for improving in weak areas, then there is chance always to go up!
Well GT have played the same players, but captain and coach asked them to play by their strength and not their weakness, which entitled them to IPL 2022 champions!
Present Day
On the very similar line, they are again going for 2023 final, the mind-set is clear for them, KISS (Keep It Simple, Stupid). They have outplayed other teams in most of their league matches. That’s the prime reason they are sitting on top of points table with 20 pts, with 10 wins in 14 matches.
If they play by their strength, there is no stopping for GT from fetching IPL 2023 trophy also.
GT Playing XI (Prediction)
Shubman Gill, Wriddhiman Saha, Abhinav Manohar, Hardik Pandya (C), Vijay Shankar, David Miller, Rahul Tewatia, Rashid Khan, Mohit Sharma, Noor Ahmad, Mohammed Shami GT Impact Subs: KS Bharat, Odean Smith, Sai Kishore, Shivam Mavi, Joshua Little
Chennai Super Kings (CSK)
On the other hand, CSK is team who are born to play the IPL qualifiers. Could you even believe that they are playing their 10th IPL Final out of 15 overall IPL editions, and they managed to Qualify 12th time this year. Well the answer is simple to this, magician MS Dhoni.
We are lucky to born in the era of MSD, who maintains such calm composure irrespective of the match situation.
Despite CSK ranked 9th last year (IPL 2022) with almost same team (just an inclusion of Rahane and Dube). CSK turned around the tide this year. The way team management and MSD utilizes his players and the way player responded them back, it’s a lesson for every team and captain across the world to learn from it. They knew they didn’t have the best bowling attack as a squad, so they have to keep scoring those 25-30 extra runs to cover for that, which they were able to do in the first leg of this tournament. And in the 2nd leg their bowlers slowly and gradually started picking up the things, hence they are looking much better team then what they have started out this IPL 2023. They are just 1 win away from winning this tournament.
CSK Playing XI (Prediction)
Ruturaj Gaikwad, Devon Conway, Ajinkya Rahane, Ambati Rayudu, Shivam Dube, Moeen Ali, Ravindra Jadeja, MS Dhoni (C), Deepak Chahar, Tushar Deshpande, Maheesh Theekshana. CSK Impact Subs: Mitchell Santner, Matheesha Pathirana, Shaik Rasheed, Akash Singh, Subhranshu Senapati
Well let’s wait and watch, who clinches the trophy today, whether it will be the 2nd trophy for GT or 5th trophy for CSK.
